According to Ptolemy, in this facie there arises the neck of the Ursa Maior and the rear left paw. And from the head of the Leo to its paw. And the water snake neck, and an half of the Navis.

In the second facie of Leo there arises an Idol lifting his hands upwards and shouting, and he has cupper Cymbals like a dancer, and several songs. Then there arises Bacchus [89] and a glass cup, [90] a Flute [91] made with roe horns. And a duck, a pig, [92] and a Wolf lifting the front paw, and the other half of Ship, Hydra neck, [93] i.e. the water black snake, the half of the Horse and the half of Donkey.
